I started making jewelry over 10 years ago, but it wasn't until recently that I began making my own beads. Glass bead making is delicate and hard working. Each bead is unique and it's always a pleasant surprise to see how they turn out. I also like to do traditional beadwork, embroidery, sewing and other fine crafts. 

Art is a significant part of my life. It is the freedom of expression and the reflection of emotions in my work that I love the most. My inspiration comes from the people and the scenery around me.

I always enjoy learning new crafts, but traditional art holds a special place in my heart. I am Cree but I was not raised in the traditional ways. In creating traditional crafts I am rediscovering my culture and identity.
